The Scope Projects team loved working with Daiichi Sankyo, Inc., Japanese pharmaceutical company, to design and construct their first Australian office at Goodman’s 11 Talavera Rd, Macquarie Park recently. We extend our best wishes to Paul Rasiah and the entire team for continued success.

A piece from the ‘Pharma in focus’ article: Daiichi Sankyo Australia has hit the ground running, forming a leadership team and opening a brand new office in less than a year – and it’s just getting started with a major recruitment push underway.

On Thursday the 17th of August 2023, Scope Projects, a Gold Sponsor of PIF, successfully held their second Hard Hat breakfast Event for the Property Industry Foundation. They brought their community together and raised an incredible $30,000, an accomplishment significantly surpassing their initial $10,000 goal.

“We invited our key trade partners and suppliers to join us for our second year running,” says Christina Paterson, Scope Projects. “Scope Projects has continued to grow over the past 12 months, and this was an opportunity to say thank you to our trades for their ongoing partnership, delivering commercial fitouts to our Property Institutional clients.”

We are delighted to share our recent work with Royal Caribbean Group (RCG) on their new 1,500sqm Sydney Headquarters. The project set about bringing a family of Brands, all uniquely different, together under the one roof.

Working with JLL Tenant Representation Patrick McFarland and Matthew Cullen RCG had made the decision to consolidate their Sydney workplace operations and portfolio into one floor within 101 Miller Street North Sydney, a Premium Grade asset with a prime view of the Overseas Passenger Terminal.

Congratulations Christina Paterson, our Sales & Operations Director, on being recognised in the Top 100 Women in Construction 2023 awards!

The Top 100 Women in Construction list highlights women who have demonstrated exceptional leadership, expertise, and innovation across all levels of the construction sector. It aims to represent the breadth and diversity of talent in the industry amongst all role levels, junior to executive.

When Investa invited the Scope Projects team to be involved in a sustainable project within 420 George Street we jumped at the chance, immediately partnering up with Aimee Munro at Gray Puksand as our creative and talented design partner. 420 is a Premium Grade asset and home to Investa’s own Head Office. Whilst the project itself had an exciting brief, it has been even more rewarding to be trusted with this prestige address.

Level 10, a large rectangular footprint with side core, had been home to a Serviced Office user. The highly built workspace was in a nearly new condition, due to the covid closures it had been well preserved and therefore had many services and furniture re-use options to consider. Due to the depth of space access to natural light is limited to the East and Western facades, both being the shorter ends of the building.

Last year, Scope Projects hosted a beautiful event for Investa, TSA Management and Colliers at 201 Kent Street to celebrate the completion of two stunning speculative suites and the start of another two.

Investa has been a long-term client for our business and we are proud to celebrate a milestone of works delivered in 2022. The 201 Kent Street project encompassed our largest single Contract with Investa to date, over $5m across 2,300sqm.

Scope Projects Delivers Coates New Workplace

When Coates (formerly Coates Hire) came to the end of its existing office lease at 201 Coward St, Mascot, the well-known equipment hire provider had the chance to refresh and modernise its headquarters. As a company servicing the mining, infrastructure and construction industries, Coates wanted a space that balanced sophisticated practicality with modern digital amenities – setting the team up for today’s world of tech-enabled, hybrid work. This new office would also bring the Coates team back together to collaborate in person after long periods of remote work due to the pandemic.

Coates partnered with Scope Projects when the project began, bringing the team onboard right from the start. The teams worked closely together to fine-tune the design to be not just functional and aesthetically pleasing, but highly engineered to support employees and their needs – such as updating AV functions post-Covid. This in-depth planning, taking time to investigate and follow due diligence, allowed for the best price, a seamless build and maximised use of resources, including the existing air conditioning units on site.

Investa has been a long-term client for our business, we are proud to celebrate a milestone of works delivered in 2022, it is an achievement we are very grateful for. The 201 Kent Street project encompassed our largest single Contract with Investa to date, approximately $5m across 2300sqm.

Through a competitive tender process Scope Projects were nominated as the preferred contractor to work with Investa and their Project Managers TSA Management through an extensive value management phase in order to right scope the project in line with the budget allocated to the makegood and fitout of 4 workplace suites:
