Scope Projects Deliver Royal Caribbean Group’s New Sydney Headquarters

We are delighted to share our recent work with Royal Caribbean Group (RCG) on their new 1,500sqm Sydney Headquarters. The project set about bringing a family of Brands, all uniquely different, together under the one roof.

Working with JLL Tenant Representation Patrick McFarland and Matthew Cullen RCG had made the decision to consolidate their Sydney workplace operations and portfolio into one floor within 101 Miller Street North Sydney, a Premium Grade asset with a prime view of the Overseas Passenger Terminal.

The vision of The Royal Caribbean Group, Celebrity Cruises, Inc. and Silversea Cruises Executives has ensured the workplace inspires a return to the office. It was essential that each person felt the positive benefits of co-habitating whilst having a strong affinity to their Brand within the space. Through the design Wool+Hay personalised the planning and functionality to meet each businesses requirements, also providing an aesthetic identity that cohesively transitions the large floor plate.

Smart technology was a serious consideration and investment, led by the RCG UK based Tech Team Cisco kits enable a seamless experience in all meeting rooms and offices. Creating a truly memorable larger than life impression, the front-of-house welcoming area is home to a large oversized LED installation for each Brand to personalise the arrival experience in an immersive way with live or curated content. This same space extending through the breakout and lounge is equipped with speakers and sound system to host events and town hall meetings.

We are very privileged to have been a part of the journey providing workplace advice, schematic planning, concept design direction, budget guide, programme and cash flow forecast, followed by the full design and construct delivery of the workspace.

“We found somebody who was prepared to listen and help us be a better business, and that was Scope Projects. What we found with Scope was a business that would sit down with us, which would listen, take on board our ideas and really help us mature our ideas. They were able to deliver an on-time, on-budget and spectacular fitout.”
