South of Market, Castlereagh Street is undergoing an incredible transformation with retail luxury brands soon to line the street in 2024/25. Above the retail is 114 Castlereagh commercial residencies, originally built in the 1920’s it is steeped in Sydney history having been home to the St. James Hotel and George Bosch Chambers.

Scope Projects partnered with Tamara Prochnik of Stomp Studio to design a workspace that honours the character of the building, highlighting its natural charm, unique shape and form. The refined workplace elements blend seamlessly into the timber beams, joists and brickwork fabric. Old meets new with the addition of a Baresque graphic wall installed in the Boardroom and column lighting that subtly creates ambience on arrival into the space. It’s a rare gem in the heart of Sydney!
